Sadness, anger, a combination. Many emotions are high as the recent passing of Charlie Kirk has loomed over the nation. An assassin's bullet fatally struck a great man who did not deserve to die at such a young age.
Charlie Kirk believed in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. He captured the spirit of We the People and infused it into the youth like no other patriot in the history of our nation. As President Trump profoundly put it: "The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us."
The last thing Charlie posted on Facebook was: "We Need an All-Out War on Crime or More Innocents Will Die." There is no substitute punishment for murder. Capital punishment must be brought forth upon his murderer without delay.
Within moments of the announcement of his death, leftists have celebrated and the media has tried to swirl this to fit an agenda. They all deserve a great amount of public shaming. There is no excuse for such rhetoric and political games.
We must carry on the movement Charlie started. We must carry on the momentum Charlie created. We must carry on the spirit Charlie bestowed upon us. We must carry on the fearlessness Charlie operated with. Most importantly, like Charlie, we must never surrender.
America lost a great one today. May he forever rest in peace.
